What is meant by Exporting a video?

KineMaster Export
KineMaster Export Interface

Exporting a video simply means to convert all your clips, effects, layers, or simply the edited video into one single video file such as (.mp4) so that it may be easily viewable across devices. For example: You have a video file in KineMaster which you've just completed editing. So now you want it to appear on your gallery or video player like MX Player etc. In order to do that, you'll have to export your videos from KineMaster Pro Video Editor.

I guess you now know what is meant by Exporting a video. There are other factors such as FPS, Bitrate etc. which we will learn more in the following paragraphs below.

What is Bitrate, FPS and Resolution?

Bitrate, FPS and Resolution are key factors when it comes to the quality of the Video. Let us learn more about these in detail.

(1.) Bitrate

Bitrate is referred to the rate at which data is being transmitted. Bitrate can also be described as the quality of the video/audio and it's typically measured in bps (bits per second), kbps (kilobits per second) and here in KineMaster its measured in Mbps (megabits per second).

If you are not sure what that actually means. Let me give you a practical number which you can use when you export videos in KineMaster without hurting the quality of the video. So the list is based on the video resolution which is measured in pixels. Nevertheless, here is the list;
  • 720p (HD) : 5 - 8 Mbps
  • 1080p (Full HD) : 8 - 12 Mbps
  • 2160p (4k or UHD) : 35 Mbps +

So I hope you now have a clear number to choose depending on your video. Remember. The list above is as similar as what YouTube recommends their creators (Youtubers) while uploading videos on YouTube.

(2.) FPS

FPS stands for First Person Shooter in video games and in videos, FPS stands for Frames Per Second. FPS is responsible behind smooth video playback. So the common number for videos is 30 FPS. But if you want to make your videos look even more smoother. Do make sure to select the highest FPS available in KineMaster. Which is 60 FPS. Your videos will look butter smooth. But the downside is that the export time will be very long.

(3.) Resolution

Resolution is the quality of the video. The more pixels a video has, the better the sharpness. Below is a list of all the available Export options in KineMaster Pro Video Editor.
  • 360p
  • 480p
  • 540p
  • 720p (HD)
  • 1080p (Full HD)
  • 2160p (4k or UHD)

You might wonder where's QHD or 1440p? We'll QHD isn't mentioned in the list above because it isn't supported by KineMaster Pro Video Editor. Okay so now let's learn how we can export our videos in KineMaster.
