2020 | How To use Handwriting in KineMaster Pro Video Editor

Apart from just editing videos in KineMaster Pro Video Editor. You also get this cool feature which you can use it to doodle on top of your videos as a layer. You can choose many different colours and what's special about KineMaster is that you could also add Animations to your doodle as well.

What is Handwriting in KineMaster?

Handwriting option in KineMaster Pro Video Editor will allow you to draw or sketch on top of your videos by creating a new layer. The primary purpose of the handwriting tool is to highlight a certain area with the use of shapes or pointers, usually arrows. With the added features of KineMaster such as Animations, you could create a live moving pointers with the handwriting tool.

KineMaster offers various brushes which are all different in how they function. You get 5 brushes, probably and 5 shapes. Just as I mentioned above, the shapes can be used to highlight a certain area of the video. You get shapes such as Square, Stroke Square, Cross etc. You also get the option to increase or decrease the size of any of the brushes including the eraser brush as well.

How to use Handwriting in KineMaster?

In order to use Handwriting tool in KineMaster Pro Video Editor. Follow the instructions provided below;

Step 1 : Open KineMaster along with few clips of yours.

You will need to have few clips already in order to get started with the edit. You can use any video that you currently have or you could visit Pexels (pexels.com) to download few free HD Footages for your project. Or, one easy solution if you don't have any video clip is that you could also use an image as a video clip.

Step 2 : Open the Handwriting Tool.

Tap on Layer>Handwriting (the interface changes). You can now clearly see all the available tools for adding your first doodle to your video clips.

Step 3 : Tap on the brush tool and select a brush or a shape.

Now tap on the brush tool and select any brush or a shape of your choice. You can choose between 10 different brushes and shapes.

Step 4 : Give a colour to your brush.

Right next to the brush tool. You can also see another tool which is the colour tool. Tap on the colour tool and select any colour of your choice. A quick tip. Choose a bright colour such as Red, Green or Blue etc.

Step 5 : Define the brush size.

On the bottom you will also see one more tool which is the Size tool. Tap on the size tool and select a size from the available 9 different sizes. Do note that these sizes affect both the brushes and shapes.

Step 6 : Start your Doodle!

You can now draw on any part of your video. Once you're done drawing on your videos. You could then add Animations to your doodle layer. This way, you can highlight a certain area of your video which you would want your viewers to focus on.
