Effects or the KineMaster Effects Tool allows you to add additional effects to your videos or clips. With the “Free” version of KineMaster. You only get the option to add just 2 Effects. These are;
  • Gaussian Blur, and
  • Mosaic
The “Gaussian Blur” is an Effect which you can use to blur your clips or the layers. The same applies for “Mosaic”. But with a difference of pixelated look. And with the “Paid” version. You get almost infinite number of Effects since they keep updating and uploading newer Effects. For this you'll have to upgrade to monthly or annual subscription. How To add Effects using KineMaster?

Step 1 : Open KineMaster along with few clips of yours.

If you do not have any short clips of yours, do not worry. Since you can use your images as clips too. Or you could also visit Pexels to get yourself free HD videos as well as images too. In order to import images into KineMaster, Tap on Media>Your Folder>Your Image>Tap on the top right check mark (✓) to import.

Tap on Layers>FX (Effects). Tap on Basic Effects if you want to use the available effects. If you have purchased the subscription. You may be eligible to download all the other special Effects by tapping on the “Get More” option. Once downloaded. You can then use all the special effects in your videos to make it look creative.

Step 3 : Start adding Effects.

Tap on the desired “Effect” to add the new look. Once done. You may tap on the top right check mark (✓) to add the effect. Once you’ve added your desired Effect. A new layer is created in the bottom timeline along with the name of your Effect. You can now do lots of adjustments to your Effects by tapping on the Effect on the bottom timeline. You may add Animations both “In” and “Out”. And you may also add overall animations to your Effects too.
